Sandia Heights is a contemporary community nestled at the foot of the Sandia Mountains. It is filled with elegant contemporary Adobe style homes and is based on an open space concept. Natural landscaping is of great importance. It has spectacular city and mountain views. In order to assure preservation of the unique character of Sandia Heights, all residents are subject to strict covenants and restrictions. Homes range from $325,000 - $2,500,000.

This community is made up of mostly custom built homes on large lots. Horses are allowed in some sections of North Albuquerque Acres. The homes here have beautiful mountain views and are not subject to covenants and restrictions. The area is bordered on the North by a strip of land owned by the Indians of Sandia Pueblo. Homes range from $400,000 - $2,500,000.

Far Northeast Heights is a lovely area is made up of the exclusive Tanoan Country Club, for those wanting a golf course and a gated community with a guard. This area consists of residential subdivisions with single family homes, patio homes and townhomes. Homes range from $175,000 - $2,000,000.

Academy West is a large community made up of many varied priced subdivisions. Homes range from $180,000 - $250,000.

Located in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains. High Desert is the most environmentally sensitive development of its kind, establishing standards for design, construction and landscape. The UNM and Uptown areas are in the heart of Albuquerque. Very conveniently located close to shopping, churches, schools, UNM and Hospitals.
